The Turkish Education Association firmly believes that education is the most crucial factor in a country's economic and social advancement. With this belief, it establishes schools to support Turkey's development through education.

Since the establishment of TED Ankara College in 1931 as the oldest Turkish school founded by private initiatives, 45 TED Schools have been established across Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) all operating at the K-12 level.

TED Schools operate under a cohesive educational strategy, ensuring standardized quality processes across all institutions. Independent of their financial management systems, TED Schools operate under a consistent educational philosophy and adhere to institutional standards.

The decision to open new TED Schools is informed by the following priorities:
• In the decision-making process for establishing a school, the principles and values of TED are always prioritized.
• The determination of the impact areas for new TED Schools based on a comprehensive evaluation of various factors, such as geographical boundaries, the transportation system in the relevant area and the demographics of children aged 5-14. The ultimate decision regarding a school's impact zone rests with TED Headquarters.
• The enduring success of the TED brand and its missions is deemed the utmost priority. For this purpose, all evaluations are based on TED's criteria for sustainable success.

The educational and administrative processes of TED Schools are managed by divisions that report to the Vice General Manager of Schools Management. In this respect, strategic planning activities are carried out, data on education processes are monitored, schools' strengths and areas open to improvement are identified and necessary actions are taken.
