Education Scholarship
Students under the Education Scholarship receive education at TED Schools. Scholarship students are selected through centralized exams held nationwide followed by home visits. The Education Scholarship covers not only school fees but also pocket money, transportation, meals, books and stationery, clothing, and accommodation expenses for boarding students. Scholarships for students attending and graduating from TED Schools continue throughout their university education. Additionally, career tracking and internship opportunities are provided for university students under the Education Scholarship, with support offered for their job placement process upon graduation.
How to Apply for the Education Scholarship?
Applications for the Education Scholarship exam are made through the website www.ted.org.tr on designated dates each year. The opening dates for applications are announced on our website every year between November and January.
What do Families Need to do for the Application?
To apply for the Education Scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Turkish citizenship
- Enrollment in the 4th or 8th grade in the year of application
- Residence in provinces where Support Scholarship training is provided
- Attainment of at least 85 average grade in the "year-end report card of the completed class."
- Family income below the level determined by TED annually
**Please note that students continuing their education at TED Schools cannot apply for the exam. Parents of students who meet the above-mentioned criteria can apply at www.ted.org.tr on the specified dates.
When to aApply for Education Scholarship?
Applications are received between November and January. Application dates for each year are announced on our website.
How to Select Education Scholarship Students?
Prospective students must apply at www.ted.org.tr between the specified dates. Students who meet the score criteria are then interviewed at their homes. Those who are positively evaluated after the interview are entitled to receive the Education Scholarship by the decision of the Turkish Education Association Scholarship Student Determination Commission and the Board of Directors. Students who are awarded the scholarship, along with their parents, sign the Education Scholarship Commitment, which comprehensively covers the scope and qualifications of the scholarship, the rights and obligations of the student, termination situations, refund policies, continuation terms, parental responsibilities, and dispute resolution.
How to Follow the Education Scholarship Results?
Education Scholarship exam results are announced in March on www.ted.org.tr, where exam applications are made. Candidates can access the Exam Result Document through the system.
