Our Ongoing Projects

Our Accomplished Projects

Since the 2013-2014 academic year, the Class of the Future Project, organized by the Turkish Education Association in cooperation with Qualcomm, has been a social responsibility project aimed at providing new technology and innovative learning methods to children across Anatolia. The goal is to enlighten our country’s future by empowering students to be productive and successful.

The Class of the Future Project aims to enable students to develop academically, socially, and culturally while effectively utilizing technology in their lessons. The ‘Class of the Future’ project has been initiated to ensure that schools remain abreast of advancing technology and to serve as a model for the future education system.

The English Language Training Project for TOHM Athletes, carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, commenced in April 2021. Athletes undergoing training at the Turkish Olympic Preparation Centers (TOHM) received online instruction for 4 hours a week, totaling 360 hours over 90 weeks. The objective of the courses was to provide English language education.

The project aims to enhance the foreign language proficiency of athletes with high potential to participate in international competitions. This enables them to express themselves more effectively in foreign languages during competitions, advocate for their rights when necessary, and better represent our country.

Conducted over five periods between 2008 and 2014 with funding from the United States Embassy in Ankara, the Young Innovative Entrepreneurship Project aimed to cultivate the creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship skills of young people.

Implemented in 2014 with support from the US Embassy in Ankara, the Virtual Classroom project comprised four one-month sessions covering topics such as violence and adaptation problems in schools, volunteering, disabled rights, and the environment. Schools were paired together, allowing Turkish and American students to exchange ideas through a dedicated portal, and teleconferences were held between schools. By integrating technology into the learning process, students, guided by teachers, developed essential 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Designed for 3rd-grade students attending public schools with limited financial means but demonstrating academic success, the TYLE Project was launched in the 2015-2016 academic year with support from the US Embassy in Ankara and implemented by the Turkish Education Association. In the project’s second phase, which commenced in April 2016 and concluded in December 2017, students received 360 hours of English education.

The An Equal Future Project aimed to raise awareness among kindergarten and primary school teachers and school administrators about gender inequality. Implemented in five TED Schools during the 2017-2018 academic year with funding from the Dutch Embassy, the project sought to promote understanding and awareness of gender-related issues.
